Abode Living shortlisted for RESI Award for its contribution to Affordable Housing

We are delighted to share that Abode Living has been shortlisted as a finalist at the RESI 2025 Awards for the category: Outstanding Achievement in Affordable Housing (under 150 developments).

The judges were impressed by our commitment not only to deliver secure, high quality affordable housing but also due to the extra services and facilities we provide that are invested in solely by us, without any fees obtained or funding contributions.

On the services side, these include social programmes, volunteering opportunities, mental health support, physical health screenings and skills workshops for adults, and early years education initiatives, holiday craft clubs, reading and sports sessions.

On the amenities side, Abode has invested in state of the art gyms, co-working spaces with IT equipment and indoor and outdoor play areas for children and, most recently, built special cabins to run social and educational workshops within.

Our commitment to decarbonisation of the portfolio was also recognised, having upgraded the energy performance of all homes to a B or a C level, with only 4% remaining, three years ahead of the Government targets.

With 96% satisfaction ratings from our residents, and feedback that cites our professional staff are like ‘family members’ to them, we are immensely proud of the communities we have built and delighted to be recognised for it.

The award ceremony takes place on 7 May 2025 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
