Sutherland Quarters in Crawley publishes summer events agenda in its community cabin

During the summer holidays, parents can often feel overwhelmed with needing to balance childcare and jobs or needing activities to entertain the children. At Sutherland Quarters, Abode Living’s affordable housing scheme in Crawley, the community engagement team have put together some events to keep the little ones entertained and for residents and visitors to meet each other and socialise.

Every Wednesday throughout the holidays, a workshop or activity is being held at the The Cabin, organised by Deborah Stainforth, Community Engagement Officer for Abode Living in Crawley.

Coming up over the next few weeks includes 7 August from 11am-12pm a Creative Kids session, which will be repeated at the same time the week after on 14 August. On 21 August, Creative Crawley is visiting from 12-3 with a variety of activities to get involved in, whilst the summer will wrap up nicely with the end of summer BBQ held on 28 August.

All residents and their guests are welcome with further information at reception at Sutherland Quarters.
